Opportunity: JJ&R is seeking Board Certified / Eligible Emergency Medicine physicians for staff positions at our facility in Anaheim, California. This 187-bed suburban hospital treats 18,000 patients annually,who come to visit nearby Disneyland and major sporting events. Moderately busy E.D. with an excellent mix of medical/surgical patients. E.D. physicians respond to in-house codes and write admitting orders. Outstanding relationship with attending staff; good back up coverage in all specialties except neurosurgery. Excellent support from ancillary departments, with CT, MRI and Cath Lab available. This Paramedic receiving hospital also has a relationship with a Level II trauma center.
Community: Orange County boasts an excellent school system and is one of the most desirable areas of Southern California. Easy access to area beaches and boating communities; as well as area attractions such as Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. Anaheim is home of the Anaheim Angels (MLB) and Anaheim Mighty Ducks (NHL). Both Los Angeles and San Diego are within easy driving distance.
