Opportunity: This 450-bed, high volume E.D. is located on the eastern part of the San Fernando Valley. The department’s high acuity rate (25% admission rate) has daily double coverage, and supported by an excellent backup staff, offers an outstanding patient mix. Annual E.D. visits is approximately 39,000 patients at this Paramedic Base Hospital. The hospital also provides specialized care in behavioral medicine, cancer care, cardiology services, diagnostic imaging, women’s and children’s services (including NICU), rehabilitation, and health education. In addition, the hospital is affiliated with Loma Linda University’s Family Practice and OB-GYN residency programs.
