White Memorial Medical Center – Los Angeles
Opportunity: This 344-bed, high volume E.D. is located in East Los Angeles and treats approximately 40,000 visits annually. The department has an excellent mix of medical – surgical patients, and has daily physician double coverage, as well as physician assistants handling Fast Track care. The department is part of the hospital’s new patient tower, which opened in April 2006. Ancillary support to the E.D. is exceptional, with good support from the attending medical staff and nursing.

Beaches, mountains and lakes, major amusement parks, along with college and professional sports teams are available to meet any entertainment need.
